What about France?

If the Hawk 75 is flyable, France will win.

Assuming there's some system whereby the actions of a player will have a direct bearing on the outcome of a campaign, all the Lufties have to do is knock out British radar installations and keep bombing RAF airfields. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

who needs radar as long as our trusty team of spotters with binoculars are modelled correct http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

To maintain the morale of our community, we should let the USA win http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/touche.gif

If Hitler is modeled -> UK
If the game pretends that he and G├┬Ârschwabbel keep out of the military -> Germany

If the USA isn't modelled.. the commonwealth is pretty screwed.

Flights of hundreds of German bombers and Stukas armed with cyborg gunners? Uk doesn't stand a chance.

What does it matter? No one flys historically anyway. All the onliners will be using 1945 tactics, as usual, and the offliners will be doing whatever they do in the privacy of their homes.

Remember, it can never be historical until the "refly" button is deleted.

Be sure.

i just wish some other country that fought in ww2 had a major film industry with worldwide appeal. so i could stop reading this **** every few threads.

MOVIES ARE MAKE BELEIVE, THEY ARENT REAL, NOR ARE THEY HISTORY.

dam i had learned that while a young child, some people just dont ever get it.

dont mean to single you out, but this is really getting old.

MOVIES ARE MAKE BELEIVE, THEY ARENT REAL, NOR ARE THEY HISTORY.

Which is why the writers shouldn't be hijacking real events and real people.

Tell that to the writers. They shouldn't be hijacking real events and real people.

writers need ideas, nothing is really new. they get ideas from real life,, then they MAKE UP A STORY. it just a made up story, not real.

nobody owns historical events, they are free to use and change them as they want, as they tell a MAKE BELEVE STORY.

if its in a movie, its not history any longer its make believe.

Im willing to bet that with the reversal of the bombing hordes from Red to Blue the AI gunners will overheat faster, have a more complex damage model, their elevation rate will be hampered, and lose their energy after the first pass.

By the way, Tom Hanks isn't stealing the BoB, but Tom Cruise might-one can only hope he does a better job than Ben Affleck.

With player access to Strategic level planning the Luftwaffe should clean up. Without, it could go either way.

What has the US got do do with it?

I bet that too. No longer will you be able to be pk'd with one mg hit that goes right through your engine block from a T-1000 gunner whose position you have peppered for a good 5 seconds.

If it stays the same as Il-2, though...the Battle of Britain will be a very short battle indeed - one lasting about 24 hours. Unless the Hurri reverts back to FB v1.0.

Hmmm, so it was incompetance rather than competence which decided the battle.. ??

There were tactics the British could have used to obviate attacks against their southern airfields.

Personally I think it isn't right to say if this would have happened then that would have... no one knows.

Know one thing though... It helped in stopping the Nazi sh1theads from spreading their darling regime around the planet.... Sorry,,, very un pc http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
