Whoa wait a minute - NO NO NO NO not the view thing again - i was only sharing some one of a kind photos i took in AZ - if somebody tries to bring THAT stuff up again [no matter how correct] i will post NO MORE of these

How did you get them to let you in that pit??? I went to mcminville and the closest i could get was to hold it up from outside , inside the rope but no touchy!!Bf 109 supposidly the only flyable with the original engine! Ah! wish i could post a pic!

Do they have a 190 in McMinville? I saw a 109 there in Sep 2004. Great museum. Didn't see a 190 though

how sexy is that engine pic of the 190 where you can see the blower fan.

Actually, it has variable inlet guide vanes, and they're shown closed down. Same engine as on the Ta152H which is why the spare QEC they have is for a Ta.

Got more, plus Spitfire, Hurri, 109, Mosquito, Me262. Didn't get into all of them though, but the museum allows entry into the Spit, Me262 and 190.

Hope that was interesting enough!
