I literally have my copy sitting in the bag from gamestop on my desk - I'll let you know how my install goes but I can't imagine you are having an issue with the software, sounds like a hardware problem. Check you device manager and see if anything weird is going on with your optical drives.

open windows explorer and double click on the drive that has BOBII in it. once open, double click on the setup icon. that should work.

oh, and make sure you're putting it into a cdrom player not a dvd.

Good luck on that - I've submitted several request over the last month and received no response. I installed fine (up to 2.05 multi) but am crashing to blue screen after a few minutes - even after a good defrag and driver updates. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

Post over at Shockwave or SimHQ with exactly whats going on and i bet your BSD issues can get resolved. Crashes are now very isolated and only a handful of people have not been able to get it working and usually it was because of some inherent hardware issue (like a non DX9 compliant video card).

For new forum registrations at Shockwave they got bombarded with automated spammer programs trying to gain memberships to the forum and got a backlog of trying to answer "real" requests for registration. Most of those are now up to date I think but some may have fallen through the cracks.

When SW has been made aware of an issue I have seen firsthand on numerous ocassions that their support (directly or indirectly via the forum community) is absolutely first rate.

Here is just one example (and there are many more): http://www.simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&...2&page=2#Post1723472 (http://www.simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1723472&page=2#Post1723472)

I'll keep an eye on my email for that registration http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif The -109 for MSFS is first rate - I'm sure BoB will be fine once I get my system sorted.
