After playing multiplayer for a week or so I have started to get really annoyed with certain issues. Earlier i detected a pursuer and ran quickly through a gate which closed but because of lag??? they were still able to push through the gate and kill me. I have had targets highlighted hit the attack button and nothing happened, then be killed by an enemey. I crawled up a wall hit drop because i didnt mean to crawl up and an enemy i saw crawling up kills me on the way down. I don't know about you but the game has never allowed me to be that precise. My last death was to an enemy who i jumped down ran through and knocked away with a shove but then killed me. The shove didn't affect his targeting ability at all? I saw my target in a wagon i accidently pushed them out and jumped in i still hit attack but that didn't matter because they pushed me back out, well i hit attack again and nothing... seconds later my pursuer killed me.

I never complain on forums but this game has been so flawless in singleplayer that I got really upset during multiplayer. I know none of these things will ever be fixed but i just needed to vent. Thanks.

There's a global issue with all multiplayer games, on pursuer's PC, the distance between him and his pray is always smaller than on the computer of the person being pursued. That's why you sometimes think that you've escaped, but you haven't, and that's why you sometimes think you got to player A on time to kill him, but it's you who ends up killed by player B. And the more lag there is, the worse it gets, but that's often more up to your and other players' Internet connection than the network code.

Also, in ACB multiplayer, kill beats stun, so if you both act at about the same time, you're dead.

As for unwanted wallrunning, yeah, it happens sometimes. Freerunning depends a lot on PC's correct guessing where you want to go, how far you want to jump etc. It works great probably some 29/30 times, but when it fails, it's really annoying (in single and multiplayer alike). And while it's likely that it would be impossible to make a system that would work 100% of the time (without mind reading), doing that bit of code a little better in an upcoming patch or the next AC game would really improve the overall experience. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I haven't played in a week because of these same issues. I am tired of seeing the button highlight to kill, or to stun, mash it, and not instantly but 5-10 seconds later the enemy kill or stun me instead, even though 5-10 seconds earlier I was already pressing the button http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

There seems to be a serious issue with the netcode or design, because things often make no sense at all. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

How bout, when you're actually in the animation of killing/stunning someone, and suddenly, after a tedious freeze, it turned out to all happen the other way around. And you can, often, actually see the player float away, smiling wickedly...
Or when you run into a chase breaker, and suddenly get a guy jumping through the roof, killing you anyway... What use are these chase breakers then?
Or when someone actually jumps on top of you from miles away. But each time you yourself are too eager and initiate a chase, you have to actually pass/cut off the person to kill them. For some reason the miles-away-kill never works for me. I actually have to bump into my target half of the time... Even in non-laggy games :|

Lag mostly.
Got into 2 games, where I had clearly muted my assassin before he even initiated the kill animation and *pop* he kills me.

Or tapping kill before the target is even starting to stun me (and even then, I would have broken his stun animation), and he stuns me anyway... -_-
