I long time a go when the B25 was released I started doing a template but abandoned it, I have today dragged it out of its dusty folder and have began to update it.
The Aircraft is a B25 of The 489th Bombardment Squadron in Corsica.

But I have no details as to the markings it carried codes and serial numbers etc.... does anyone have any details that can help me out finish this skin?

Oh by the way 4.01 corrected the nose gear doors on the B25 it now opens correctly outwards..

The pics... oh and if you think they have been touched up, they are not, its as it looks in game, just trying a new technique

I believe Monguse has covered the research of B25s based at Corsica, and did this very skin at one point. You might check his site here. (http://www.warwingsart.com/)

It's featured in a "Veterans Day" screenie he did around Memorial Day here. (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/1821058523)

Nice treatment on your version. Kind of an oil-paint look.

Oops, sorry forgot to comment on the works... Guess they look so good and truly real and natural...

Yes, very good.

One thing though, I see that you have not put any repair patches into the skin or brush painted 'Touch-ups'...I have never in fact seen any in fact on yours or for that matter anybody else's skins.

Take alook at the Spitfire photo in my thread 'Site Historic Photo Collection' and you'll see what I mean http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Hear see...

Best Regards

Yes I have and I always do http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I would suggest you check out my Aussie Beaufighter and also my Version of Jesters 110 look closely you will see i have even painted about 50 individual footprints on the wing upper surfaces..... i add them to most of my skins, they add a sense of realism, they're subtle, but there, now thats dedication for you http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Note also the engines on this one have fresher paint on them indicating they have been changed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif as they often came as a power egg, ie with cowls included

Nice B-25 colour scheme!
Perhaps some detail in making little black/brown stripes behind the little bulbs on the engines, which are exhaust pipes.
