Got my copy yesterday (woo Netherlands) but the weather in PF seems unchanged, which is quite sad.

No improved clouds, no overcasts, no nothing. I take it weather fx changes are for BoB only then?

Regards,

Gryphon

The overcast sky Oleg spoke about will be available at a later stage.

Diablo you might try Forest=3 and Water=3 too! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I play with > Forest=3 < even in the original IL-2!
As for the water, a big bad card is needed though...

please read this thread (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=26310365&m=8201065232) to learn about atmospheric and other enhancements to PF/FB/AEP

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

When default are @

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.0625
PolygonOffsetUnits=-1.0

Explain?
and
VisibilityDistance=2 why not 3?

My default is the same as this:

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

Might have to do with your initial setup, the videocard? I got nvidia, Ti4200.

And I dont think that there's a difference between VisibilityDistance=2 or 3. I tried and I didnt notice anything, so it seems 2 is the limit?

Btw, tested effects=2 instead of one and man, explosions really look much better now. Weather effects are the same, but this is still a very cool addition. Very nice http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
