Well thats what the guys here seem to have done.

I Always have to applaud anyone that is prepared to get off their butts and build what they want instead of whining about how nobody listens to them and hoping some one else will do it.

Its not claiming to be a rival but this one seems to be aimed at the less 'hardcore' or 'labcoated' amongst us who just like to have a bit of fun in the air now and then.

Good luck to em http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Wonder if they'd do a Whirlwind for me?

(sits back and waits for irony to sink in)

Well it seems like a nice effort, but it looks like a warmed over version of CFS1 to me.

Hmm; I was a beta tester for Fighter Ace; then when it went commercial MS banned Euro players as "they did not currently have the neccesary billing technology"... swine!

So I downloaded √¬Āirwarrior II and it all started there...

I doubt I would like to play it... excerpt from the News section:

"Essentially the rudder should allow for players to get a good lateral movement such that dogfighting is more precise, rather than physically correct (which often means you get a thing commonly know as "rudder sway"), our implementation is focussed on good gameplay, which means we are willing to sacrifice "reality" for good gameplay."
