Hi all,

Well here's the Easter Egg in v2.20:

A little something for those folks that wanted weathered alternative Japanese numbering. I didn't have time to extend this to other aircraft or do randomised MATs but that's something that I can work on for the next version.

Hope you enjoy 'em

Best Regards

Aces

Hi mate,

I had you firmly in mind when I was doing them. Select either of the options marked "hokoku dai" and they'll be displayed.

Have fun

Aces.

Ace's High;

Love your work, the efforts you've made for the community are wonderful, thanks so much.

Have a question though, I have not "installed" for a couple of versions due to a problem I encountered...Perhaps simply in my poor use of but thought I'd ask anywho.

The numbers on the planes, specifically off the top of my head FW190's striking me most, were not matching up to the lists....Online is where I'll spend 95% of my time, and being able to tell who is in what plane helps quite a bit for cover and such.

In otherword....What might be listed as "red 2" in the player lists might show as "gold 7"...Is this an error on my part? or does the software not apply the numbers the players have?

(I'm actually assuming to some degree it has been due to my selections)

Thanks for your time.

Kelly

Thanks again m8 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif Btw, the Ki-84 with new markings now can reach 697 km/h @ 6000m. The acceleration improved too. Woohoo!

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Aero_Shodanjo, watch you markings don't fall off, see my posting on the new v2.30 "Extra Adhesive Marking" option http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Hi LEBillfish mate,

Well, the game doesn't know about MAT Manager and so if you look at a full-mission builder mission it will use the games' definition of gold irrespective of what colour markings you have for the third Staffel. When in game this makes no real practical difference though IMO. If you do not use the randomised numbering options then 1 will still be 1 etc. I prefer not to use randomised numbering options online with my squad but folks like them in offline missions, campaigns etc.

I hope this answers your question, mind a bit slow tonight as it's been a long day else please post again and I'll reply tomorrow. Doesn't sound like any error on your part, just an inevitable concequence of the game not knowing that MAT Manager has changed the colour of the numbers from those in the game.

Cheers

Aces
