Just a hoax...
Oleg's comment yesterday about it at 1C:
"Hi folks,
First of all I would like to say about incorrect information of release date and image of package, leaked by some way yesterday: Official press release (announce) probably will happens on the next week.
About current version progress: shots are done using pre-holidays version. Team is working over the new version. More news - next week."

Here is the other thread about this subject with an alternative version of the box art of SOW:

Tony, relax mate. This particular link has been discussed to death at 1C forums since wednesday http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif We have to wait to the next fdriday to get some proper info from "The Man" himself.

That looks like a cloth map. I haven't had one of those since Ultima IV! Big time decoration/screen cover!

Now I think about it, I don't really want or need any of those things offered in the box set aside from the manual. Some little badge or pin might've been nice. Perhaps a model or an autographed print...

how much for that?

i really want that cloth map
