Has anyone here read the Left Behind books? They are really good, and some of the only books I will voluntarily read. They are by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye. If you haven't read them yet, read them. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif They are about the end of the world and how a group of people manages the world ending. They are Christian books, but they are really good. And have the book of Revelations (easy to find, it's the last one in the Bible) ready too.

Something I found kinda funny was that in the Left Behind books, the enemy is Nicolae (a.k.a. Satan) and in Splinter Cell, the enemy is Nickoladze. I just found that a bit interesting.

Not really my thing, though i have read Revelations... ive read the whole bible front to back a few times, ya know, durring the rough times... good book indeed... Yes, Revelations is frightening, but if you lived your life as a follower of the bible should, you shall not be left behind.

As for those who have committed mortal and brutal sins...they should be worried...

Anywho, ill be long gone before the end of time...

Ive never gotten into religious literature really...

I wouldn't be so sure, USA, most to ALL of the things prophisized are possible, like after the two witnesses die, the world will watch them for three days, well, that's what we have TV for. There are other examples I'm too lazy to say, but trust me, a million people could vanish at any given moment.

I've read all of them so far and they keep making cliffhangers. Then we wait a year for the next book to come out to find out what happens. It's annoying, but those are some of the best books. My teacher got the first one for her birthday and when I said I had those books I let her borrow them. They're great. Has anyone else read them?

hey, i've read the series and i think it's great. but what i don't understand is this: if you read them and truly believe that the events prophesied in the Bible will come to pass, then why be so scared of it all? you know you will be included in those who are raptured, and therefore have nothing to fear.

Why to non-Christians? People not of the Christian faith and many who are Christian do not believe in the Revelations version of the end of the world if indeed there is to be an Armageddon type scenario. Maybe as a recreational read - but for me it's a subject foreign to my beliefs and is to me not very interesting. Besides that the Left Behind series are NOVELS - FICTION. Maybe based on an interpretation of Revelations but not a prophetic tome in any case.

Just keep a check on the things that you say. This is discussing religious topics, which aren't really allowed.

Please keep comments about other peoples believes out of the topic. A general discussion is fine, but please don't pinpoint specifics.

(Don't go to church? you loss....) Those are the kinds of comments I mean. (ps not picking on you, just as a good example of what to avoid.)

Not everyone believes the same thing, and even those that do may believe it differently.

Please bear that in mind, before people get offended.

Thanks. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
