I usually go but decided not to this year. Too expensive and I don't care as much anymore anyway. Read the report over at Simhq - aside from BOBII that's it for fight sims. None in the works - no one interested in making any.

This is another reason why this series should be kept afloat, we supposedly have quite a few aircraft waiting in the wings, nearly ready to fly, but probably won't make it, many other aircraft that had an important role in WW2, that arn't even being made(lanc, etc)..and ...we're missing many maps, that should be in game, that won't be....so...we now have to wait till when?..mid 2006, if we're lucky for BoB, and we get a smaller, but better all round Sim(hopefully)...but still the missing planes from this Sim...we still have to wait a loooong time for(before they reach BoB as an addon), now then, has MSCFS3 improved enough to retry it...because they have those aircraft of which i speak, and i'm afraid my patience runs low somedays.

You know that currently we are almost alone on the market... niche is too small.
But I dislike to go on consoles and name it simulators..

I guess I know why he said that, now. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Seems like they developed a new type of Me-262 that fires cannons out of it's engines. (picture at bottom of it shooting at P51)

I think that we are going to have a long series of child-flight sims before anything like IL-2 appears again.(that is not created by 1C)

We can only be happy to have somebody like Oleg Maddox and his team who can make a really serious sim.

After IL-2, I doubt that I will spend (or last) more than few days on each of these new sims (that is if I decide to try them out in the first place).

This is product that posses such quality that any other sim (any sim IMO) is being child play compared to this one. And that is amazing for game engine that isn't really fresh.
