Yes, a T3 Tanker was my most disapointing kill - Why I hear you ask?

Well, althought she lies at the bottom of the sea, it didn't count as a kill!!! She sunk in 12 meters of water in the english channel and although her hull was firmly on the sea bed, her deck was clearly above the water. :-(

It's the only T3 I've seen so far and it's not even going in the log. Next time I'll stalk them until there's at least 100 meters below the bow.

that's really interesting, don't think the developers thought of this. Great finding.

Yeah I thought of that too, I emptied all my torps into her and she stayed intact.

Talk about a stubbern target!

The oil can still be recovered... so ofcourse it doesn't count as a kill. It's not about the ships it's about what they are/were transporting: destroy the goods - you get the credit! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

torpedoes closest to the keel and underneith will certainly make them sink much faster. Need magnetic to do this too.

get a pipe and run it over to the crippled boat, then suck the oil out and take it back to germany. You get the kill and the tank offensive will not stall in Russia, double win!

Use the deck gun to blow her up !

Thats what I would have done..and have done in the past with shallow water sunken ships.

You have let oil get into enemy hands now..that will fuel their tanks and other vehicles. Shame on you.

bombard, bombard and bombard them again until on scrap and burning hulks are left.

Please learn from this, BDU forgives you.

It's actually a T-3 Submersible protype...you only thought you sank it...in reality, it crash dived.

Man, I WISH I could get to see that sort of a sinking. I would count that as a most interesting kill.
