Is that the B-239 from FB? The B-239 would work well for Dutch or British scenerios in Malaya, etc.

But the only combat-operational use of the Brewster by US forces was by the US Marines at Midway. The Marines flew the F2A-3, which had signifcantly different dimensions than the B-239 (it had a longer nose, and didn't use the spinner).

That's an F2A-3.

We're doing a LOT of work creating additional versions of existing FB aircraft. For half the effort of creating a new AI plane, we can create 2 or 3 sub-versions of an existing plane.

Trust me, I'd be put off more than most of you guys at seeing a P-39N in 1942, or a flight of B-17Gs landing at Pearl Harbor attacked by A6M2-11s http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Why would we have B-239s at Midway?

It may have been noted before but the islands the F2A-3 is flying over look an awful lot like photos I have seen of the Midway islands.

AVG pilots were at first jealous of nearby British pilots flying the B-239, believing the P-40 to be inferior. Chennault arranged a mock duel to quiet their fears.
