They didn't look all that close until the collision. I guess the following chopper pilot was likely at fault.

I'll try and google the accident report.

Couldn't find any report.

That's why I don't like helicopters. Rotor's gone and that's the end.

Seems 1 heli hit the water? Maybe they survived it..

The following heli forgot he had a rotor on top.

He was also in 2 peices...

I doubt there were any survivors unfortunately. Those choppers would have hit the water at speeds I'd say upwards of 100 km/h. And then, waters just like cement.

I really dont like websites like filecabi, I just happened to come across it. They have some pretty **** disturbing videos on it, eg ones of people dying, I accidently opened one up of a police officer getting shot by a man he pulled over. It was the video of the monitor on the dash, and all I could hear was his screams. Disturbing http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

What happens when a Spitfire losses its wing?

Same thing. The rotors are the wings on a helicopter and you're pretty well screwed in any aircraft when a wing comes off.

That second pilot was paying squat attention to where he was going. I have nothing good to say about him...

I recall this incident from a few years ago- i seem to remember there were a couple of survivors.
But the video is misidentified- i'm sure it happened at an army parade in Saudi Arabia (or another Gulf state) around 2002. I'll try and google the details.
Actually, if you notice the tower at the start of the video it looks like one in Saudi.

Sounds like Arabic music, speaking generally.
