I always thought the Corsiar was a lot bigger... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif:

this happens when you don't stop your home cockpit building in time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If he chose the background music himself for the video, we are discussing a very scary person indeed...

You'd prefer the theme from 'Baaa Baaa Blacksheep?' http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

His Corsair wobbles too.

Cool vid. Can he fit Kate Beckensale in the cockpit?

actually this was and is a very common if little known problem with corsairs. If left out in the rain to long they are prone to major shrinkage. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

My heart skipped a beat during that second video. Good recovery though; that could have been ugly...

Thats a WAR aircraft replica. The company sells plans for half-scale warbirds like FW190, P-51, Sea Fury, Zero, P-47 and I forget the rest.

Their FW190 is actually pretty cool looking:

Hey! He copied my carrier landing technique!

Actually, he looked like Herman Munster in that thing, but seriously, I figure anytime you get to fly, who cares what you're in...

There is a guy near Wellington in NZ that has a 2/3rd scale FW190. I saw it flying when I was a kid and it took me ages to work out what was wrong - I hadn't heard of scale replica aircraft before.

I don't get it, I fail to see the point here, If you're bothering constructing a ww2 bird, why the frack do it at scale???

That 1st one is a kewl home cockpit. I don't know if he was video editing, or if he has that projected on his walls in that room. If the latter is the case, that's what I want for IL2. Sure beats a big monitor. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

If you have a minimum of 1 million dollars to spend, then by all means go full scale or get the real thing. If you aren't a millionare, go for a scale replica, A LOT cheaper.

If you watch the 2nd one closely, it flies like it is radio controlled. Watch it again.
