Changing armament loadouts?

Tried asking in Community Help, but no bites.

Flying the USMC Iwo Jima campaign, and would dearly love to take some napalm to bomb the island airbases.
However, the only loadout in the options is 2 napalm plus a hulking great centreline fuel tank, and even with my internal fuel down to 50%, it is almost impossible to get off the carrier.

Is there any file which can be edited to allow napalm only without the extra fuel droptank?

you can simply drop the tank while you are on the deck, beforte takeoff.
