Maybe this was discussed before, but why the g6 late can't have the Erla haube without having to change the entire tail section.
you know on the G6 late, the tail section is identical with the one on G6AS or G10, but i'v seen pics of G6 having the Erla haube , but with the same rudder(like on G2 or g6 1943.
Now were that only "accidentes"? I doubt.
I personaly prefered the the old rudder, but the new cowling has better visbility,...hmmmmm.
so what do you think about it?
Would it be that hard to modelled a version of the G6 1943 with the "Erla haube"? We have the plane , we have the "Erla" so is it that hard to combine them and get a "historical" AC?

A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great'
landing is one after which they can use the plane again<center>

G-6s also came with the tall tail section... and of course also with the short one.

In fact, they came in pretty much every combination one can think of. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Why is the tall tail unit so disturbing ?

The old tail semms more sesitive, ad more ferocious.
Is basicaly one of the facts that give the agressive look to the 109.

Yup,

Even theG-10 was known the for having a mixture of the different tail unit, undercarriage, tailwheel, canopy, etc. it was known as the "bastard" aircraft. I've seen G6's with the K undercarriage and doors too.

The hood could be and was retro fitted to the 109. "The campaign of Holland,Belgium ,and France, in which two countries were completely overrun and a third successfully invaded, was a strange example of the way in which the Germans managed to achieve surprise by doing precisly what they had already done twice before".
