Do you know the default command (key Ctr F1) called "NATURAL HEAD MOVEMENT"? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif
It's work, it's cool, it's natural, it's smooth...
No mistakes here, THIS IS NOT A TARGET PADLOCK !
Padlock is useful only from external view when you review a track, but from the inside during the fly is totally innatural and impossible.
...In LockOn Looking the landscape from your cockpit, searching bandits, landing ecc.. are the best immersive experiences ever.
It's better than the IrTrack.
Note: I think this tip works even better in LockOn demo than in the Official game (try it) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif
-WHY-NOT-IN-IL2FBAEP ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif
Do It's possible to patch it ? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Please http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

You can replicate this using NewView or FB View Plus.

I wrote a big long post about these but the forum ate it.

Both have disappeared off the face of google - I spent a good 20 minutes looking too.

I can host the versions of these I have [Newview: build 31, FB View Plus 2.11], but I can't serve out multi-megabyte files from this account all month.

If anyone has the official site for these to share I'd like it, NewView is no longer at
http://www.sh.zp.ua/il2/ and I can't seem to find FB View Plus at the URL I think I got it from before [www.jg54.net].

Setup pages for New View (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_newview.htm) and View Plus (http://www.airwarfare.com/Sims/FB/fb_viewplus.htm)
These pages contain working links to executables.

Has google rolled over your site yet? Couldn't find you at all! Thanks for the links.

edit: I should add, to get Lo:Mac style 'look ahead of the direction of stick movement', rather than the default 'move my head around with the g-forces' NewView system, you will need to use negative values in the bottom two fields here:

To get something similar in FB View plus you can use the 'overload' or 'pegtop stabilization' options here:
