When I was in highschool as part of a class called Flight that the school offered, when took a day trip from Winnipeg to Grand Forks Air Force base in a Dakota that we chartered for the day. We got a tour of the B-52 and the Minuteman III silos they had there.

I took some pics and still have them around here somewhere. There was the most lucious Stewardess on the plane and I remember being dared to take a snap of her bottom as she passed by. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I simply must find those pics. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes. You must.

HBR - Who was operating the Gooneybird? Way back, before you were born (70's) there was an airline still operating them in Queensland called "Gooneybird Tours". I think they ended up being bought by BPA (Bush Pilots Airlines) who then became Air Queensland who was then bought by either Ansett or Australian. Of course I have no idea what happened to the DC3s. Wasn't there a backpackers airline that was going to fly them in the early 90s?
