Are the effects the same?

*You May Only Use This Ability On A Target*

or whatever the natural prompt is. It's like trying to use a decoy on a player. Impossible.

Actually it does work and it just slows them down much like it does to you. Try it sometime. AS a matter a fact it cancels charge and sprint.

Yeah, and it helps you gain distance, or maybe even a stun if you're lucky, or good...

Pursuer runs at you.

Lock on, throw.

Run, they can only walk for the duration of the effect.

Dont try and stun them because they will still win.

I like using them when my team mates are being chased. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Yeah Knives works on Pusuers and targets.
On Pursuers it just does the same effect as used on a target. Though it is more effective if you spot em on a ledge or during a chase to screw them over http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

This (in my experience) is the easiest way to work on Timber. All you need to do is pick out your pursuer and get them to climb. Don't need a chase pop, just them on a wall. I can't make my target climb, but I can almost always make my pursuer climb.

All wanted, all the time.

Edited for typo-opyt.

Not only is it possible, but it's one of the better applications of this ability. People don't realize that you can use it for your pursuer. The only times I use it on a contract are to keep them in range for a focus kill from above. Maybe in a team match to help someone catch a runner too.

On defense, it's powerful. You can easily kite a pursuer and vanish before the effects wear off. I always force my pursuer along a path that puts them in acrobatic position then I hit them with knives and wave.

Stand on the top of the frame of any lift on a map. Watch the pursuer follow you up, hit them with knives as they climb up to you and then go about your business.
