I think you're safe to try.
I know that with the release of AEP the Perfect Mode problem with nVIDIA TI* line of cards was mysteriously RESOLVED!

Most people have no problems going back and forth. The thing I'd recommend is find a set of drivers that works for you and that you get the best performance out of.

If you have a ForceWare card, I highly recommend 53.03 or the new drivers released today.

I have a Ti-4600 and use the 53.03 drivers. I have everything set to its highest level, including perfect landscape. Everything works perfectly.


BTW, there is a link floating around on this board for the 45.33 driver. It's a bad link. It downloads a file that says its the 45.33, but actually once installed, it's a much earlier version.
