What a laugh!
the worlds 1st jet powerd beer cooler! (http://www.asciimation.co.nz/beer/)
but hey it actually works!

i found this loooking for ideas for my new Sour Mash Still i'm building out in the shop. While home wiskey making here in the US is illegal...
HOME ETHYNOL FUEL PRODUCTION is not only LEAGAL
it's very TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!! lol

why pay $3.00 a gallon at the pump when i can make it myself! lol my family are moonshine makers from Waaaayyy back. and my dad & uncles used to run the hot rod off of granpappy's finest. that's actually how they transported the stuff. IN THE FRIGGIN GAS TANK! get to the buyer...drain tank, leave enough to get home on. but now everyone else has gotten wise to moonshine fuel. Ethynol/ E-85. not only will it FILL your tank.....it'll GET YOU TANKED!

in the process i may put together an artical on still making and Ethynol distilling. for fuel purposes of course. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

boy oh boy of gandpa knew what i was planning for the family recipe he'd be rolling over in his grave! lol http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Forget the beer cooler, I'll take the MGB even if it is a GT. I'd rather have a convertable again, but what the heck.

Mint little Rig! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

My brother had a small cooper still, that sat right on top of the stove.
Good enough for about 3gal's from a batch of mash.
Add a bit of instant coffee to it and Yah had a instant Coffee Liqueur!

Recipe

Ingredients
2 oz (56 grm) instant coffee
4 cups (950 ml) sugar
2 cups (475 ml) water
1 fifth of either bourbon/grain alochol/vodka or etc
1 whole vanilla bean
Preparation
Bring water to a boil.
Add sugar and coffee, and stir until dissolved.
Let mixture cool.
Add bourbon/grain alochol/vodka .
Pour into two or more bottles.
Cut vanilla bean into equal portions, one per bottle.
Split bean portions lengthwise, and place one in each bottle.
Cover tightly.
Wait patiently for at least six weeks, then enjoy.

Ethynol/ E-85 Contains Ethyl Alcohol mixed with Gasoline but can be burned straight also.
However..

General

Synonyms: ethanol, grain alcohol, fermentation alcohol, alcohol, methylcarbinol, absolute alcohol, absolute ethanol, anhydrous alcohol, alcohol dehydrated, algrain, anhydrol, Cologne spirit, duplicating fluid 100C, ethyl hydrate, ethyl hydroxide, jaysol, jaysol s, molasses alcohol, potato alcohol, sekundasprit, spirits of wine, spirit, synasol, tecsol
Toxicology

Causes skin and eye irritation. Ingestion can cause nausea, vomitting and inebriation; chronic use can cause serious liver damage. Note that "absolute" alcohol, which is close to 100% ethanol, may nevertheless contain traces of 2-propanol, together with methanol or benzene. The latter two are very toxic, while "denatured" alcohol has substances added to it which make it unpleasant and possibly hazardous to consume. Typical OEL 1000 mg/m3.

Toxicity data

He'd get the same cooling effect if he'd just vent the tank to the atmosphere (though there would be that pesky risk of explosion and fire.) PV=nRT, if you reduce the pressure, you reduce the temperature (everything else remaining constant.) I thought he'd tap the compressor and dump that into a heat exchanger with a restrictor valve. The homebrew jet engine is pretty trick though.
