Did anyone catch 'Spitfire Ace' on the International History channel tonight on cable? It was a four part series where they take 4 young guys from various piloting backgrounds and groom them for flight training in a two-seater Spitfire. (only one can make the cut) It was to illustrate how RAF pilots were trained for the BoB. Many of them only went to battle with 9 hours of instruction on the Spit. You would either fight and survive or die. Very enlightening show with lots of great aerial shots.

Hopefully they will re-air it if you missed it.
