Yeah I'm a cheapskate and just bought PF Monday. Merged install and set up the quick mission builder and what plane do I fly? 190 (of all the new planes, I fly the one I've been flying the past year). But something's wrong. The roll sucks. The elevator sucks. This is not the plane of 2.04!

I forgot to redo the input settings. For some reason it defaulted to 1 7 15 .... where I like them at 10 20 50 75 100 100 ....

I'm glad I gave it a chance, I almost thought that the whiners were right...

Wow were all lucky you gave it a chance, otherwise you would of came on here and told us how crappy this and that is about the plane and how noob this and that is, glad your infinite wisdom took over and tried different settings or bothered to look before you agreed with those who blame the plane and talk alot of **** about something other than there 1 year of flying lack of skills.

Oh, and if I could, there'd be a smilie in the subject http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I'm not really one to complain about this game. Been happy with it since I bought FB a year or two ago. Although 3.04 does seem to be very different than 2.04, I know to give myself time adjust, as one must do with all evolving, patched computer games.

Good to be back on the same page as everyone else on the boards.

Well said, wasnt directing any hostilities towards you mate just that that is what happens all to many times on here, It sounds like you understand that. Good luck in your 190 and hope to see you online in the future.

How do you set those input settings?

Hey, at least you gave it a chance. Most of the time, the thing that's so right about me is that I'm wrong all the time!

Still, with that said, with all the hours upon days and weeks and months of flying fun that you get from this game, why anyone would have waited to buy PF, especially when they'd buy games that they'd play for a few hours and then never again without blinking... well, t's all beyond me. How anyone could come to these forums and ask the..

Is it worth it?

question is completely beyond me!

Nice to see that some people have the wisdom to check WHY something doesn`t seem right with the sim first instead of knee-jerk reacting and wetting themselves in their haste to tell us how **** the sim is. It`s so tiring to see people posting diatribes because they assume they can`t possibly have misunderstood or done something wrong themselves.

It`s been one of the great put-offs in visiting the forums.

How do you set those input settings?

Just checked last night:

10 30 50 65 70 75 80 85 95 100

Yaw at 05 10 15 20 25 30 50 60 80 100

I have an X-45. My joystick was slammed pretty hard a few months ago http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif and hasn't been the same since.

Thanks for all the advice everybody http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Sorry to ask the ultimate N00B question but where are these patches available from. Do I have to pay or register? Info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Found it myself. Thanks.
