View Full Version : It feels shortened *spoilers*

This was bugging and I wanted to see what everyone else thought. There are certain parts of the game where a save fountain is about a minute away from the last one and the platforming in between these is very simplistic. To me it seems like these sections were cut down to get the game to ship on time. I honestly could have waited a few more months for this game if it meant making it longer. I actually got through it within a day (mind you it was a taking my time all day affair). Post your thoughts guys.

BTW anyone else wanted a Prince/Dark Prince showdown where you actaully had a boss battle.

I'm not aware of any levels being cut down. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I did feel that I had reached the Vizier too soon. But I was satisfied by the number of boss battles and their complexities as well as those of some of the other challenges during the game. There were quite a few moments that make you chuckle and feel returned to the SoT feel of the game.

Although the game had enough cutscenes and FMVs I just wanted to see some more videos that perhaps showed the King die (maybe a flashback, soon as he picked up the sword). Also, if am not wrong, wasn't the Vizier talking to someone other than King Shahraman when we kinda eavesdrop on the conversation earlier on in the game? All in all the game was pretty satisfying and was a good ending to the trilogy, and I understand your concern for more gameplay.

OT: Just played the PSP version of WW, trust me PSP-owners, this is a must buy! Getting to the throne room from the central lever soom is no easy task (added levels). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I loved the mental realm level. I only wished it would be like 5 minutes longer . That would have been great http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, for me it was a pain in the *** the fact that some fountains were located at a great distance one from another. And since my game was crashing every 5 minute due to the graphic card ( yes, I am cursed to not play POP like a normal person, even though I bought a new graphic card especialy for T2T ), I had to play some of the levels at least 5 times.
Till I decided that it's better to play the game in slow motion with my old graphic card than to not finish the game at all. So I installed the old one ( GForce 4 MX 440 64 MB 128 biti ) and the game worked perfectly. I think I just lost it when I reached that part with the green huge monster. Well, it's not the same thing, I mean I can't see the screen going fuzzy when I perform a speed-kill, but at least I can play the game.
But now I began to play the game for the second time, and the fountains don't look that far one from another. On that level where the Prince fall down and he has no water, just before he finds someone ( I won't say who ) and he takes the sword, I managed to pass on my very first attempt yesterday.
The game is very good, actually, it was great.

That it, finally finished on Hard
and I must say that the Vizier is much weaker and much easier to defeat then the Dahaka.
And he dares to call himself "A God"

Actually I quite liked the not-so-hard-ness. A game doesn't HAVE to have you swearing and throwing the controller against the cat out of frustration to be Entertaining or Challenging... But working out a way to defeat your enemy other than just button bashing using YOUR mental realm, and those puzzles are a perfect alternative. I do think there are some parts which needed some polishing, but this is a really great pay-off after just a short year of work.

But UBI, next time, take. All. The. Time. You. Need.
The game was far from bad, actually it was great, but if it was as polished and complete as Sands of time, with *someone*'s ponytail NOT falling through her neck, and the prince sticking his blades trough an enemy's chest rather than his kidney in a double blade decap, that really works even better.

The ending was a little fuzzy though. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

The game is very short. Just look at the .big files.

POP:WW Big files
prince.bf 625mb
Sounds.big 532mb
Soundlocal.big 123mb

POP:TTT Big files
pop3.bf 485mb
sound.big 246mb
soundlocal.big 90mb

So u see. TTT is smaller than Warrior Within. Thus its very short. The length is a disappointment. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Great... The shorter the game, the shorter the time of play will be... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Thanks for letting me know that the game is extra short - I was expecting for the game to be very long since it is the final chapter of the trilogy... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

they said the two trones would be aproximately about the same length as warrior within, whell i dont think that ubisoft knows the word aproximately i think the playing time was way to short, and they also said that the player would feel a great feeling of vertigo when the player climbed the tower of babel. and i experienced vertigo, but i thought you could "freely move throughout babylon by foot or by chariot" it still had a storyline from wich you couldnt escape) ofcourse one is needed, but to rewally move freely troughout babylon would give me much more freedom and vertigo... just to wander troughout the streets and slay enemys when i saw them, also i thought the weapon artilery was way shorter than ww, but this is just my opinion, what about you guys?

(sorry for my english,(dyslectic)
