Couple of good threads about it over at the Consortium.

I'm taking the view of the Ta-152C as a destroyer type aircraft. Very heavy firepower and good straight line speed plus more fuel and good performance from low to high altitudes.

Even before we were flying it the sense I got was that it would be a bit on the sluggish side in how it feels.

The C is a pig. But its hard to prove the difference one way or another, its not like there was ever much documentation on it.

The only thing which makes me think the modelling is possibly wrong is that Kurt Tanks statements about the Dora being the stop gap fighter until the Ta152 series. In my mind the Dora is easily superior to the Ta152's.

The TA's have a higher ceiling than the P47D late. That is a huge advantage up high. The Jug will falter around 11km where the TA will go 12+km.
