Have been palying COOP via LAN lately and been very confused by the points system that seems to be given out. Why not just use the single player KILL system

Can anybody point out to me how the points system works and how many points are worth for what action

I wouldn't worry about it. Online it often doesn't even keep the correct count. I solo'd a B-17 last night it said I killed it,and gave me credit, In the text box and teh HUD. I landed safely, and parked even shut my off eng. then hit refly. Never got a point should of got 400 points.

Points are waist of time, Just run your mission get home safely and enjoy the mission. Which ever side comes home with the most players alive wins.

Well thats a shame and means that the coop LAN experience goes unrewarded. I personally would like to see the campaign system available in coop

Coops are simple: If you survive, you win. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There is a points system (100 for killing a fighter, 200 for a bomber; you only get 10 percent of the points if you die) but I've never seen anyone who keeps track of them or even wants to. At most, the high point winner in a single Coop will get an "attaboy" from the others. Coop pilots fly them because they are as close to an authentic mission as the game offers, not to rack up point totals.

The problem with all points ladders is they reward the people who fly the most missions, which is pretty bogus.

But if you insist on being a score *****, VEF or VOW should satisfy your craving. That also happens to be their downfall, there is no cooperation (unless you're with squaddies) and it's every man for himself. Tried 'em both, not my cup of tea.

You'll see me hosting coops on the weekends. Jump in and enjoy the adventure http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
