View Full Version : Who would you want to share a Mossie cockpit with?

A long night ahead in your Mossie - just you and your navigator. You'd want someone interesting, wouldn't you?
That's all there is to it really - would it be someone like Nelson Mandella for an insightful and meaningful discussion on the nature of reconcilliation and forgiveness (georgeo, perhaps)? Or Miss Sweden for her bouncy chest when you hit turbulence (Fritz)?

Over to you guys.

Hmm let's see Miss Sweden or Mandela? hmmm, DUH!

Definatly a hot babe, If I get shot down for... er.. beign distracted, at least I would die happy!

Mandella is overmodelled. Miss Sweden can be used as a floatation device and is therefore more suited for an emergency situation

William Shatner. If there´s trouble ahead I´d just ask him (Kirk) to explain the ominous "Kobayashi maru manoeuvre" to me - done.

Just how many can fit into a Mossie cockpit? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Ah gee, sorry ladies, we are low on fuel, the radio is out, and we´ll have to land on the nearest deserted island. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

I'm not sure a Mossie pit would be the best place for fruitful intercourse, carnal or cerebral.

When I think of where I'd rather be, I remember a screened in porch w/ rocking chairs on Edisto island. Might not be as exotic as a Mosquito, but I can personally attest it's a fine place for a conversation.

For company, I'd say Mark Twain, Bob Dylan, corn whiskey, and a quarter bag would see me through a memorable evening.

Sorry, I know this isn't exactly the question you asked, but I don't think Bob would be able to navigate worth a damn in the dark, and there is no place for Mark to sit.

ive read of a guy doing a girl while in the cockpit of a typhoon, whilst flying http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

with a glassnosed one ud get 3 in, if 2 are smallish, pilot, nav, and then in the nose. and perhaps 2 in the bombbay sharing the traditional flask of coffee and cold sandwhichs.

for a pleasureflight id take a female friend or 2 http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

for a mission then someone competant to make up for my lack of competance http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

so sure, crop duster http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif, and a whole host of others too http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

DR.Phil. That way i would have one who cant stop talking, and one who can tell me how i became a sociopat liking flying deadly machines, with the purpose of hurting people.

He would also explain how my flying will make my relationsship die, and how it will affect my relationship with my daughter. By the end of the trip he will give me an signed copy of one of hes books, with a free of charge stay at some resort so i can have profesional help with my emotions caused by the ongoing war......

Either:

Wing Commander Guy Penrose Gibson VC DFC and Bar DSO and Bar.

Or

Group Captain Geoffrey Leonard Cheshire, Baron Cheshire, VC, OM, DSO and 2 Bars, DFC.

And in either case I'd be quite happy to let them do the flying!

True...

There's really no shortage of people I'd love to fly with, especially if the barriers of human mortality could be crossed.

My wife recently purchased a DVD of the movie 'Shall We Dance?' and wanted me to watch it with her last night.

Being suitably inspired by said cinematic, I would have Jennifer Lopez flying the Mosquito, with myself as navigator.

As navigator, I would naturally ensure that we became hopelessly lost and would have to land in some remote, isolated but survival-friendly location.

That's my fancy for the moment, but tomorrow, who knows?

Best regards to all,

Yeah, but this happens from time to time and after 14 years of marriage I've learned to suffer in silence (or else!).
This time, as always before, I thought to myself, "Here we go - another chick flick" and my other half is a Richard Gere fan so I was in for a hefty dose.

There were, however, three things about the movie that I was able to quietly enjoy and which kept me awake, thus ensuring domestic harmony:

(1) Jennifer Lopez
(2) Jennifer Lopez
(3) Jennifer Lopez

Best regards,

the chick copilot of the 737 that lost most of the forward third of the fuselage skin over hawaii (did i spell that right) and still made it down safely after an epic flight....in the movie "miracle flight" about it, Connie Selleca played her. Actually id settle for connie.

but a chick pilot who could keep her cool when the chips are down (or the luftwaffe is up) would be nice.

Or a young version of Mae West.....and her....

My first idea was to have hords of bombers in the background, B-17's. But I knew someone would get political and complain. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
