Same thing is when someone friendly collide with you. Some cases you dont even see that friendly plane, only message "LeVola kills XXX friendly plane". Not nice http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Well, collisions between 2 aircrafts might be more difficult to program than we think. I took a He-111Z once and with too much damage I decided to bail out. At that point, the plane was going down vertically and spinning at the same time. My guys bailed out beneath the plane. One guy bailed out, went down a little faster than the plane, then the parachute opened, slowing him enough that the plane touched him. The parachute broke, (as expected), however, the plane broke in 2 parts from the collision!

Are you kidding me? Collisions in his sim are modeled great!! You ever colide in CFS.... or Warbirds...this is the only sim I know of where you can collide and only loose the tip of your wing..... I did that once and still managed o land.... As far as the prop ting goes... you ned to dive into the sim more because it does that..... I had a tarck on one of the old patches that showed exactly that.. I was shadowing a 109 because I ran out of ammo and i figured..if he cant get me infront of him he cant shoot me..... and I had more gas,.... I wound up taking off his right elevator with my prop... it screwed up my engine though.. but it took that sucker right off.. I have chopped up rudders with my prop too.. this sim is going to amaze you... its obvious you are just scratching the surface...no offense at all try that sometime..... use pitch and throttle to try to maneuver on someones six..... and do that... yuse a wingman.... they tend to let you get close....

Of course, if you only compare with EAW or CFS or SWOTL ( lol) you might think so. I was inspired to these things by a strange free Demo to download. It has not tha graphics as FB, but some things which are very good, as the above mentioned. You can get it here :

And by the way, I fly this game since the first Demo if the old IL 2, I didn't just " scratch the surface ". You obviously have to learn not to appraise someone by the number of his posts...

Yes you can take out an enemy with your prop (Terran manuever) .
I ran out of ammo with a P39 and to down a BF109 by swooping up from below until I was just above his tail and then going inverted and pulling down until my prop sawed off his tail rudder ,didn't do my engine much good though .

i didnt vote as none of the options really address the unbelieveable collision model online

you can get RAMMED (NOTE: NOT BECAUSE OF LAG) & your plane can be CUT - IN - HALF where the other plane can fly away JUST FINE

this is no good
