If anyone is interested Osprey have just published the first of their new 'Duel' series: P-51 Mustang Vs FW190.

see inside book: http://www.ospreyduel.com/

It's by Martin Bowman who wrote Jane's Battles With The Luftwaffe, which i already own and is a great book.

It was released here in the UK on 10th September (i pre-ordered mine and am still waiting but should be with me this week).

I'm a big fan of the Osprey books, my favourite being 'FW190 Aces of the Western Front' by John Weal - hopefully it will be worth the money/wait...

I believe this is the title I just recently ordered from Amazon.com along with Spitfire vs 109. I can not wait for their arrival.

I'm currently finishing off P-40 aces of the cbi (AVG guys).
I read many Osprey stuff, they are good. Perhaps they have some stuff slightly off (some people here pointed me to some dubious info), but speaking in general they're a good read.

My Osprey fav.....don't know. There are many of them....http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Just got finished reading it. It's very basic and examines that matchup from a US POV. Pretty much what I expected.

I was going to suggest that people who are waiting for their copy like it is Christmas not get too excited, but it looks like you beat me to it. There is nothing more than could be found on the internet - here for instance.

Anything can be found on the internet no matter the book.

It has a nice color layout of the cockpits of both fighters.
