HILARIOUS---maybe you have to be a Yank. Reminds me of the ex-Marine coaches in high school having to deal with late-1960's boys.

Outstanding. I hope it's a real show.

It doesn't pretend to be anything but cheap entertainment, so I'm cool with it. Much better than reality shows that pretend to be real.

Frankly, all the gay guys I know would find it funnier than hell. I can't see any reason at all to go all Victorian, high-minded and prudish about it. Another funny reversal would be to have a bunch of good-looking female Drill Instructors (real ones, all Marine) dealing with dumb, *****, teenage males brainwashed by "Girls Gone Wild" videos.

I saw about 20 minutes of the first episode, and found it very boring. Absolutely everyone was WAY over the top in one direction or the other. I think maye gay people will find it hillariously, as they probably will recognize many of the situations overacted in the show.
I saw an interview with one of the 'recruits' and he said that absolutely everything was staged, nothing was 'reality'.

they ran a season of that last year here in Norway... it's a horrid show... not because it's in bad taste or anything, it just wan't funny. It is so obviously staged and acted all the way through, I wouldn't even be surprised if some of them if not all of them weren't gay in the first place, they all acted so stereotypical... straight out of will & grace lmao... not that I watch will & grace!

Don't be ashamed dude.
Grace is pretty hot.

First: Grace, AKA Debra Messing, isn't what I would consider "hot." While she's not ugly, she's not hot. I would personally consider her average at best and wouldn't even notice her if she were a passerby. In the body department, Grace is well below average.

Second: The reason not to watch "Will & Grace" isn't because there is a gay man or man that poses as a gay man on the show or because Grace is or isn't "hot." The reason is because in my opinion, the show is too predictable, poorly written, rather dull and uneventful. "Will & Grace" is just like all shows geared towards the average American... Boring!

Third: I didn't find the video skit funny because I didn't think it was funny, end of story.

Fourth: It's been my experience that gay men are usually queens. I can't give any statistics, but all the ones I've known, thousands, were queens. I was a club D.J. for well over ten years. While I mostly spun "post punk, alternative, indie rock, industrial, and the like, I also, but rarely, spun "top 40," and worked in ghetto black clubs playing whatever was the rage in that genre during the late 1980s. For well over two years, during the late 1990s, I worked at a gay club two - three nights a week and spun/MC a many a "drag shows." The gay club was without a doubt the best-decorated club, had a fabulous restaurant, and was also the largest club that I've ever worked at. The fire code capacity was well over 2,000 people. Almost without exception, all the gay men I met were queens and many acted exactly like the "typical stereo type."

I hope you're joking. That's pretty serious. If I said I hate Jews or something as equally offensive, I'd probably be banned.

LOVE..
HATE..

All real emotions and it is what makes us human!

Thus it is ok to hate.. Just as long as you don't act on it and start shooting gay guys on the street!

Thus it is ok hate someone for what they are and/or stand for!

It is a free country!

The luftwaffe was gay, why do you think the RAF pilots called them bandits? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

On a serious note I would not tune in for that show, not because I find it offensive or tasteless but because it lookes cack.
It just looks stupid, pointless and pathetic, TV execs must really be out of ideas and don't fancy making yet another TV talent show http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif.
Here in the U.K. we have a better programme called Bad Lads Army and the idea behind it is simple, take some yobs, layabouts and petty criminals and put them through a 1950s national service type of training. It is probably staged and everyone in it are actors, but if it is not staged then we get to see some of the scum of our society being rollocked by angry military personnel. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif
