View Full Version : F-4-F Undercarriage indicator????

Is there any indication shown in cockpit that the undercarriage is full down or full up afyer all that hand cranking??? I can't seem to seea light or anything to tell me its up or down....

Chucks righ tthe handle won't turn anymore anf the switch next to the crank will be in the "extend" position.

um, actaully, on the F4F early model, the -3 i think, the handle will infact keep turning after the gear is all up or all down, atleast it does for me.

For me too, at least if you press the button in fast succession.

you can do it by sound. the sound stops when fully deployed and fully retracted. i never look inside the cockpit as that normally gets me killed by vulchers in FR.

It must be a very quiet sound ..either that or my soundtrack music obliterates it...Does tab indicator work in all models of the F-4-F? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

DUDE. yea you gotta turn that music off. then you can hear it fine and also hear bogeys coming up on your six also. your much more aware without music

There is a sliding indicator next to the crank. It's small, you may need to zoom in to see it properly

The crank stops turning for me.
