well what the blazes did they expect by not stressing it completely.....I mean this is what usually happens when they try to make a real version of a hollywood creation. The Xwing is an ion propulsion ship for gods sake. Every Klingon Targ knows that.....yeah I know...that's Star Trek, not Star Wars.

those blasted rockets create tremendous G forces when they fire. Those guys were great model makers, but bad rocket makers. They shoulda just left it a display model. THey obviously knew little about building actual rockets.

It DID look great for a few seconds though....

a whole lot of hours and expense in building it...not a total waste as that is usually more than half the fun.

but a real hilarious letdown/climax at the end...I'm sure their wives can relate...

....

Ahem... Even a Patak could build a better flying craft than that. Sheesh, thing folded up faster than a Federation Puke at a Klingon Bachelor Party.

WTH! I put this video up last week and Lexx Luthor popped in and got it locked!

I'm going to the dark side. Or at least fly Blue.

I doubt the whole thing was made of titanium alloys and equipped with a shield generator for proper atmospheric operation. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

heh actually if you watch the whole video, not just the launch, they fully expected it to just come apart(just as it did) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif it was more for show then anything.

Even if they really knew it would fall apart that`s a shame. It looked like with a little more effort (and employing someone who knew about aircraft) that think might`ve actually flown longer than 1 second!

Still the Tie-fighter shooting it down would`ve been my preferred plan too.
