Hi,
Recently I've bought a flatscreen LCD monitor (Samsung 172x, badass). This is somewhat problematic when using TrackIR 2. I've tried a few solutions like taping it to the wall behind the monitor and taping it to the monitor itself. These solutions are temporary at best since tape doesn't stick to well and over time unsticks itself gradually aiming the center off point.

Has anyone come up with a successful solution to this problem?

I've got a couple of bits of velcro under the front legs of the TrackIR (sitting on top of the monitor) and the back leg bent downwards to touch the back of the monitor. Hasn't moved in a few months...

You can get a small plastic adaptor from Natural Point that clips on to your LCD monitor.

Use a CD case & double-sided tape. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Here's mine.

TrackIR is cheating! Hatswitch onna slider is much more realistic. What real pilots could move their Point of View just by movig their head? Hatswitch is much more authentic.

(Also with TrackIR it is easy to get disorientated in No-Cockpit view, which we have established as being the most realistic sensation of flight available to Il-2 v1.04)

I have mine mounted with the clip from Naturalpoint AND a small strip of velcro. Unobtrusive and effective.

n1 TooCool, I'll give that one a try when I get home. Best idea yet.
