A shameless bump I'm afraid!
I have improved and renamed my War Corresponpent mod.
It can now be found on my FileFront page under the title Ersatter v.2.
The link is just below my siggy!

I would like to say thanks Herr Celeon999 for your help with this mod!
To everybody else...I am so sorry for the ugly mugshot but that is the guy that BdU sent.

Hi U-301,

What does this mod do? ... or where can I find a description?

Hi Kpt!
This mod will add an Ersatter or War Correspondent to your boat.
It adds a new face to the "ofaces" crew folder.

I just looked at it, and I'm sorry, but I really laughed out VERY loud.
It's a picture of yourself!

Anyway, it replaces an officer icon (Off032.tga and Off032_0.tga), which I have reworked myself too, so I won't be using it. But otherwise a funny idea http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I think that it was last year that I saw in Danish TV a program about a reunion of old sailors still living having a reunion for those who had passed Cape Horn in a sail ship.

The scene from "The Bounty" with Mel Gibson portraying the attempt to pass Cape Horn makes me feel like that I can live without trying. Having spent some of my life on sea in a sail yacht with my parents and thus also tried some heavy wind and waves, but not nearly as strong, doesn't exactly fill me with desire to go there.
But hats off to those who have done so!
