Hello all

I'm new to this game and i really mis the a manual to use every option within the game.
As i started my carreer with 25% realism i quikly changed it to 50 to make it abit more challenging (which it already was at 25% http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

But as usuall i n00b like me has a a few questions for the SH veterans http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

1 How do i get the external torpedo's in the boot?
2 I can't use the hydrophone manually or the radio ect, has that got something to do with realism settings?
3 Why can't the Destroyers stay dead in the water so i can sink them easely ..lol http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Welcome to the forum. To bring in the external torpedoes, open the Weapons Management screen (either hit the I key as a shortcut, or click on the weapons officer and then the weapons management selection) while you are on the surface, click the torp and drag it to an empty slot in the interior reserve. The torpedoes cannot be transferred to the opposite end of the ship, and they cannot be loaded directly into the tubes; they must go to the reserve first. You'll need a crew in the torpedo room to accomplish it; the more efficient the room, the faster it will go. If you have realistic reload on, it'll take about an hour unless you have 100% efficiency, in which case that will be shortened to about 40 minutes. As to the radio, well, you cannot man it. As to the hydrophone, I don't know. What boat do you have? You can manually man the phones in the type VII boats, but I've heard some people say it didn't work correctly on the type II boats. And as to the destroyers, would YOU sit still so someone else could torpedo you? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

Guillian must have more patience then anyone on this forum. If it wasnt for UBI crappy Search feature, i'm sure that a search would of showed you the 100 or so times this question was asked. But I forgive you. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

you would think that they might put a Faq up though.
