Started out in a Go 229 on a 10000m quick mission, ended up in an orbit around the earth http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

That's pretty impressive, how long it take? I especially like the IAS as 180km/h, but yer TAS as being 6,922km/h!!

Nope, it is the exhaust flame from one of the jet engines, the whole plane was vibrating pretty much, I could upload a movie of how it looked like.

And of course, being British-built there was no vibration whatsoever. Didn't think the ol' Betty I was chasing had it in her though -

You can also edit your starting altitude to be things other than 10,000m.

Open the .mis file with notepad, and look for the altitude setting for your first waypoint. Change it to whatever you want, save and close. Then run the mission as a multiplayer coop (not from FMB, or it will reset the alt).

You can also do this for ship speeds, like if you want carrier to go 300km/h.

Low Flyer, you reminded me of what I always thought was a joke. It goes something lke this;

There was an international space travel conference being hosted by the British in London. During this Conference the British announced they were entering the "space race" and to add, they were going to the sun.

The Americans asked how this was possible, considering the heat, what sort of craft would survive. The Russians asked how it was possible to build a craft that would survive the radiation.

The British, full of pride and culture, replied " Do you think we British are stupid? We'll go at night". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Low Flyer, after seeing your screenie, I realized it wasn't a joke. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Did your Go disintegrate in this very moment? (judging by the bright strip just next to the cockpit and to odd shaped left wing tip...)

No it's not the record.

I once did over 3 million km. altitude in a p40, close to 4 million km.

I will look if I have still the screenshot http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I use version 4.01, play online too

No it did not disintegrate, it all ended when the game decided to crash

The game crashed because of the altitude. High altitude = thin air = bad (or no) cpu fan performance.

3,194.100km alt. Not bad for P40.

Finally I can do some proper BnZ work.
