Has maxping been removed as a command that the new DS will execute? I get a "command not found" returned when I start the DS. I hope this parameter is still available. The maxping=x in combination with the maxlag parameters, worked well to control high ping players joining the server. Automagically.

It's too early to say, but other than that, things look ok so far. The dedicated server starts and runs like it should.

maxping command goes into server.cmd mate, not in conf.ini file and goes like this:

maxping 500

If i remember correctly lol.

Hi crazyivan,

Yes, I have the maxping=500 statement at the top of my server.cmd file. It worked fine with the 2.04 core. I have not changed a thing other than installing the updates.

Thanks for the reply.

no = sign

maxping 500 and don`t put it on the top, make it last line in the server.cmd

crazyivan,

That was the difference then. The new parameter is maxping 500 rather than maxping=500. I removed the = sign between maxping and the pingrate value and it works perfectly now.

Thanks for the help!
