Congrats are in order. I took ultralight lessons myself and soloed in a Quicksilver MX and purchased a Quicksilver Sport from a friend.
There is nothing like low and slow flight.
May you have many more hours of flying time and may your experiences in the plane be good ones.

Fly safe! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Awesome! Congratulations! I'll never forget my first solo! Most fun I've ever had with my clothes on! Or with my clothes off for that matter! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Way to go CrashVenturie http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My first solo was in 1969 / Cessna 150.

First crash: just a few years ago in a tandem-seater Beaver ultra-lite on Lotus floats. First time the Lotus floats were tested and the pilot (retired commercial pilot) made the mistake of trying to turn back to the runway when the engine coughed out on takeoff.
