It seems that U-Boat.net site no longer require memberships to view the entire site.
Although this happened a while ago, I thought I'd let you all know as I have not seen any posts here relating to this.
Gummi does however, ask for donations. These are not compulsory, but will help keep this amazing site running.
As soon as I am back on the financial plane, I will be making a generous donation.
The site needs enthusiasts like us for it's survival - and let's face it, how many amazing facts have been posted on this forum courtesy of U-Boat.net.
One of my favourite sites

CAREFUL - the web site is uboat.net, not u-boat.net. The latter takes you to one of those web shopping services.

Uboot.net actually can be useful along with SH3 Cmdr. I sometimes go there to look at the Events On This Day (http://www.uboat.net/today.html) section. This helps me determine where to set my Patrol Grid with SH3 Cmdr before launching.

All I want is to see u-boat emblems/insignia...(of all boats)...
Hope there's a way.

Good tip Tuddley! I must remember to try that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Have you had any memorable patrols from doing this?

Yes, and being a WAC user with it's historical battles is really awesome.
