I've got Opera version 7.54 and it Don't Like Work Man... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Me clicks on General Discussion from the main IL2 page, the forum starts to load and display and then it gets stuck in some type of loop.
The browser windows goes black and Opera's download counter goes like a daemon. I aborted at about 2meg. Tried this serveral times.

Works fine with IE. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Is there a type of forum outside IL2 where I could make this post?

Will try to clear my cache, but really don't want to.

Clear your ubi and hitbox cookies, it's the old forum "log me on automatically" cookie causing that. Once you've cleared your cookies and logged back in the forum should be fine. I had the same with Firefox.

I have to be honest...I think the web upgrade is a bit silly. Mabey it's just me, but I don't like animation when I'm trying to read.

And that silly double row of yellow icons on the left side? Wouldn't one be enough (that is the right one with yellow/white colours)?

And the VERY silly "New since your last visit" and "Today's active topics" layout? Which list ALL UBI forums?!
And the lack of "Posts you posted that have been replied", and "Posts that mention your name"? Gone? Good... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

If you click on your name below your avatar you can still view your recent posts? Thats one way of keeping track of if people have replied to any of your posts. I am still finding my way round the interface but I mis my whats new button lol (lazy sod I know but thats me I guess)

OK thanks tHeBaLrOgRoCkS. It was actually there already, and have to find your own post first. the other function was still much more practical. But i guess this will make it, still.

Hey no problem,

Gotta admit I still find the new format a little unwieldy but I suppose one solution to your point would be to start a private topic with yourself then you would always have access to a post that you posted http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif hmm not sure if I made sense there but I think you get the picture lol

Actually thinking about it it has kinda dulled the edge of all the old flame war's as people have to hunt that little harder in order to flame. Not that I would even dream of doing such a thing (ahem) ♫ª♫♫ http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif
