Looks like my MS Sidewinder P2 is about to expire so I need a new stick similar to it. I do not need pedals, hotas, cougers etc just a stick like my ol' sidewinder.

Love that Sidewinder. Not another stick in the world can compare, IMO.

I had an original 3DPro in 98 that I sent to a friend in 2001. They use optical tracking and are very tight. They even quit making the one I had in favor of the Precision Pro that to me has a cheesy feel and button placement compared to the Logitec 3D I bought then instead. That was probably a mistake....

I've been searching for a replacement for my MSFF2 for years. It started with the Thrustmaster Cougar, then the Saitek X52, then the Logitech G940, and finally the Thrustmaster Warthog.

None of them measured up until Logitech just recently released new drivers and firmware for the G940. I'll put them in order from better to worst.

Just buy up as many used MSFFB2s on eBay as you can, they last for ages! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Get two and you're be set until 2025 and Cylone of Conflict: Heavies over Hamburg or whatever.
