Counting down - looks amazing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif If only there was a way to integrate this type of realistic ground action with 46. The guys on the ground are doing there thing and we are up there flying CAP or waiting for the call at an airfield. The ground commander calls us (over TS) for support and away we go; possibly the same for the opposing force. So there you are clawing for altitude in an -87, coordinating with the ground commander so you don't drop your eggs on his head, working out what map square and ground id's there are to set up your run. Meanwhile the fighters from your squad are racing ahead, searching for enemy aircraft, and spotting AA.
You'd need God's own computer to run it but imagine the immersion. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif

is this the same WWII RTS that Olegs team did some of the work on that we've been waiting for like 2 years now?

Yes, correct me if I'm wrong. I believe 1:C began work on this shortly after original IL-2 Sturmovik was released. It has came along way since then under several working names. Looking forward to this very much.

Looking forward to this one but some problems remain 2kmx2km battlefield is not suitable for tank battles . Missing equipment like 88 mm anti tank gun (missing static aaa) and close combat ranges reduces any advantage of tanks sights or gunnery that might be there . Tank rush of t34s be sure . No dense woods blooking tanks.

So i will wait for demo .)

Yep, that would be a problem with Tiger Is at Kursk where they were the kings of the steppe with the vast open fields where they zapped T-34s at 3 kilometers. But---U.S. Army found something like 90% of all tank actions throughout history occurred at around 500 meters.
