thats a spiffy paintjob....I was surprised to see the engines mounted on wing pylons on top of the wing...at first glance they look like typical rear fuselage mounts.

Seems like it would fit in a two car garage.

Wood, check this out, they have a great shot of the pylon mounted engine. Wierd design, but what the heck, since it's a Honda they'll be totally reliable and probably sell tons of 'em at that price. Cheap for a jet. Here's the link;

Cunning. It looks pretty, but it looks like it was designed for function not appearance, and being pretty is a fortunate coincidence, IMO!

It's a shame the Honda CEO hasn't taken the chance to fly in it, though - he's so serious he won't fly in it "unless there is a purpose". What a wasted opportunity!

Wing mounted engines should keep the cabin noise down somewhat. Nice looking plane.

Yeah I'll take one.

It's an interesting story.
Nice sig, Stanford!....

I have been reading, lately, that Honda is entering into a partnership with Piper Aircraft to build the plane for Honda engines. They have not said if it will resemble the test plane but I am sure it will be an interresting thing to see all the same.

Wing mounted engines also reduce noise on the ground. Toyota also is looking to get into the aircraft business.

Yeah, but did it pass the "Clara Johnson" test?

but more than anything wing mounted engines give it more cabin space. So while it looks small it's probably as big inside as other larger jets.

Can't help it, but I think the plane's incredibly ugly. The pylon-mounted engines are just.... wrong.

Would that make the engines easily removable for maintainance?

It looks like you could carry one under your arm.

Yeah...eye of the beholder and all that. It looks like a cheap kit...like an attempt at a Porsche built by Hyundai.

Probably is great, but looks not-quite-right
