I've asked this kind of question three times now /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif . My computer's specs are:
2.66Ghz
64Mb Geforce 4 MX420
256 Mb RAM
Windows XP
SB Live!

O.K. I think that i should get myself a Radeon 9700 graphics card, but my brother thinks that I should get more memory first before spending money on a graphics card. What should I get first? Also, if i get more memory should i get an extra 512Mb , or will an extra 256Mb be enough. Your help would be appreciated /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif .

If you haven't already asked, try the technical support forum, ask there as well.

For my money, 256MB and at least a GF4 Ti4200, but memory first.

Nice rig.

I'd say go for RAM. Your g-card is not very good but one of the latest models. Seems a waste to buy a new one so soon.
256 RAM is on the lower side to run FB.
512 will give more fps and less lag.

Atleast 1GB of RAM is idealistic but 512 is enough.

Now a Q for u. How on earth did u came up with that weird, complicated though elegant accountname? /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Now a Q for u. How on earth did u came up with that
- weird, complicated though elegant accountname?

Years ago one of my maths teachers decided to call me Ed the Head (he even came up with a little song about how I had a big brown bed /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif ) and it's just stuck. And the 6445? That was my candidate number for my exams which I did a month ago. I was given the number three years ago and it just made sense to use it for the forum, since i guessed that no one else would use it. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I would deffinetly go for both if I could but if not then for sure go with the ram. Instead of just 512 try and get 1gig.
