If you read the developer interview on IGN.com about Endwar, Michael DePlatter states that for this version of "EndWar," they were focusing on the North Atlantic, with Russian, EU, and US forces.

He then goes on to talk about the news reports of fighting in Asia and so forth, like we have been hearing and reading on different sites. He says that there will be different theaters of war later on.

Which leads me to ask...

will they have different Armies in the sequels?

China alone has a pop that should be well over 1 billion, along with the other Asian nations, so it would be a hardsell to not include them in any next world war.

Head over to ign and check out the latest interview for more indepth details.

Also...

will they simply have Endwar sequels...or just optional expansion packs/downloadable content that would add a new theater with completely different armies...

Will the US be included, fighting all over the world as in previous wars, or will they be so caught up on their own turf that they would not be able to stretch out?

Will the next installmants progress the timeline, thus moving into different theaters of war, or just simply stay within the same time frame, but in different geographic locations..

for the online part, it depends if they are winning or not,
