I think the FM of the 4.03 we have at the moment is not that wrong. This test says nothing about the speed when the 109 elevator is stiffening or about the needed forces.

This is a better compressed version with half of the size:
109F W.Nr. 9228 diving test (http://www.jg53-pikas.de/Diving%20Test%20109F%20W.Nr.9228%20ger_engl.pdf)

I have to say thanks to all, that helped me to increase the quality of this translation, Cold_Gambler and I/JG53_Black Jaguar.
Without them this translation would have the usual english quality of my postings http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif You know what this means.

I hope it´s an intersting read, no steering forces in kg or lbs are mentioned, but I think it gives a general impression about the steering possibilities and the influence of the trim of a 109 at maximum speed.

Keep in mind this plane is a kind of hybrid, a F with G-wings and the tall tail of later G´s.
But even with the "weak" engine it reaches rather high speeds.

So enjoy the reading!

Interesting stuff. I've read about these tests but haven't seen the results themselves. Fun testbed, this 109. Ejection seat is pretty interesting feature http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
