Anybody know, or can anyone recommend a voice command system for SHIII ?.
I have been researching this and have not really found much. All I want is a plug & play system with minimal set up. I don't mind having to input voice commands etc, but it really wouldn't be worth getting a system, then discovering you need 20 different downloads + several different peripherals to make it work. Is the microsoft sidewinder system ok? or would I need something else?
All too confusing or this simple soul

I used to use Game Commander 2, a program which I purchased and downloaded from their website.

I liked it and it worked pretty well for me but as time passed I slowly went back to hotkeys and mouse commands. (This may be because my wife is only a few rooms away and I did feel a bit foolish yelling commands at my pc)

As far as set up you just need a mic and the program loaded up. If you check their website they may already have a set of commands ready for the game, customers generally upload their personal sets to make it easier for everyone. If not, it is very easy to set up your own commands and macros as well if you want them.

I think I also remember seeing one at the Subsim website to download as well though I never talked to anyone that used it.

This game is perfect for a voice system, good luck and have fun!

Several of us have been running a freebie called Shoot 1.6.4 with good success - you can check out a thread explaining about it here:

It's very cool to bark out commands to your crew - though like another poster above I have to limit that to times when the family isn't nearby - for some reason my yelling in German late at night seems to bother them http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
