Do you keep hitting the wound or go for the unaffected areas?

I always try to make a little hole bigger. Seems to work.

If its stopped moving i usually go for underneath the command area. Otherwise I usually try to drag it down by the sinking end, like sutton said. Hittting it a bit away from where its already hit to fill another bulkhead with water. Contact detonation also.

dude... you guys actually aim for particular areas of a ship? I just try to put it in the middle where the superstructures are...

I can't even tell where it hits generally... let alone put another through the same spot.

I try to aim for the same spot. It seems to help sink it a little faster if you repeatedly hit the engines or fuel bunkers.

I don't quite understand the aiming for particular parts of the ship bit either. I use manual targeting and sometimes hitting at all is quite an accomplishment. Also I rarely take a shot from more than 1000m unless conditions are most in my favor.

When using manual targeting the fish will hit the spot where your periscope/uzo is pointing, provided a perfect solution. The weaker the solution you just aim amidship or where you think your solution is flawed, ie: lead him a bit.

I try to make a bigger hole too. Same with the deck gun. I keep shooting the middle of the ship.
