I've got about 4 months left till I can get a job... I would one day LIKE to be either: a film director, a novelist, or some rich guy who pays people to put my ideas into games http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif ... perhaps I'll be all three...

Yes but since SSX is made by EA, SSX is evil.

And evil has to be banned.

Actually, it has to go through a punishment involving a cattle prod, a belt sander, a hot glue gun and feathers - then get banned. But I can't blame you for not knowing the CoA in these situations

a jobs a job. its quite hard to get into the game bussiness. start low and work your ay up. in this case, start with EA and work up to Ubi

the only reason people hate EA(as far as i can see) is that EA bought shares of Ubi.it is a matter of opinion if you like/hate a either company. i, for one, like both companies. They are two different companies, one making action/stealth games, the other makes sports games. the only cross games where they both make the same type of game is the And1 game from Ubi and NBA Street V3 from EA. James Bond is starting to look too much like Hitman to me.

this is one reason the forums were such a mess, fanboyism. cant we just say, both companies are good at making games.

i dont care if you dont agree with me, just keep your bad comments to youself.

I disagree. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
And I'm going to make bad comments about EA because I'm bored. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif
While EA does make good games - Medal of Honour series (AA at least, haven't tried others...), SSX (going from your word - haven't played the games myself), and... um... yeah, they usually take over good companies and rush to produce a thousand games for each franchise and never provide any patches or other support for their games, resulting in a fudgeload of terrible games from what could've been a good franchise.
Oh, and of course there's the Ubi thing.

I'm currently drifting rather offtopic. Oh well. Take my advice, young one, and use it in your perilous battles against the unknown. May Chewbacca be with you.

i dont like it when i see Mods threatening to ban people because they like something the mods dont *cough FJW cough*.

I seriously think I have a shot at pro hockey. I play rep, and could be drafted into juinor come 3-4 years, and maybe advance to the NHL? Not likely, but nothing's impossible.

If that would fail, I'd just work in the CIA, probably a desk job, but maybe I could become an agent.

And should that fail, I'll, I'll-- go to EA.

They make good games. NHL 2005, Sims, 007 Medal of Honour- come on!

And that fails..... Ubi. Should that fail, I'll become a jobless bum.

Hey 91, how big are you? Or small, whichever. If you are too big you may not be a good, speedy hockey player, but if you are too small, you will be killed by every body V you get. I respect hockey player, I know I'm not tough enough to take being V'ed every five minutes.http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif And if anyone says you will be toothless, here is a fact I found a few years ago.

Only about 12% of all hockey players on the 1996 NHL roster were missing 2 or more teeth. In fact, most of the ones who were had them extracted due to dental problems. And more football players are missing teeth than Hockey players.
Just trying to back you up bro. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I am 5'10" now, and I'm projected to be around 6'6" and 6'8" (My family was bodyguards to the lords of Ireland way back when, and every man on my dad's side of the family is over 6' except my wimpy uncle, who never grew past 5'8" and is not blood related anyway)

You are the perfect size to be a Defensive man or a bigger forward. If you train right you could be a fast sonuvabiyotch. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

My jobs will be an inventor, boss(owning my own company), and perhaps even a wrestler. I want to be able to invent videogames(being the creator), make computers, graphics cards, discs, tvs, robots(not sure), and any other stuff that is electronic. I even in the future might try and think of things that no one has ever come up with. I already have one idea that has something to do with electricity. Hopefully I will be able to think of somethings else.I would consider to become a boss, owning my own company, which would be based on Videogames, inventions, robots, tvs, computers, music, movies, and more. I might want to become a wrestler also because I feel that I would do great. I've had lots of times when I've watched it and now that I love it so much, I would love to become part of it. I even wrestle and excercise sometimes so it would fit perfect.

Wow. You guys are all pretty young. And tall. I'm 25 and am 5'6 maybe 5'7 if im lucky. So my jealousy runs high.
As for the hockey, guy just keep playing. Don't stop moving and make sure you always hussle, and get back on Defense. And always, always keep your head up. Don't wanna turn ito a Lindros.
I've played hockey ever since I was 6 but due to a back injury I can't play ice.
I wanted to be a goaltender but the whole not able to play, ended that. However, I'm one of the best ball hockey goalies, in town.

As for the topic. I am an Architectural Technologist. I currently work for my city. What all of you should keep in mind is have realistic goals, with realistic back ups. So that if one fails, the other, won't be so hard to reach. Keep in mind all the schooling you'll need as well. But you guys are young. If you focus at what you enjoy, odds are you will get them. It's not as hard as some say, it just requires effort and skill.
Remember, there are two kinds of ppl. Those that dream of accomplishing great things, and those that accomplish their dreams.

In March I'm going to CritiCare Paramedic Academy to get trained as a Primary Care Paramedic. I'm only 18 and I already have my First Aid instructor's certification, so I'm hoping I already know a lot of stuff they're gonna teach me.

I just can't wait for the Ambulance obstacle course! Think of it, speeding around in an ambulance, hitting jumps through a ring of fire with an ambulance ... doing loop-de-loops in an ambulance ... can't wait!

@All the guys who think they're short, to put things in perspective, my driver's license (which I got when I was 16) says I'm 5 foot 0. Now I'm 5'10 which is just above average height I think. If I could pull it off, so can you.
